Low ASIO volume in kx3545 and up

Hello there,

after installing kX3545 I found that all ASIO signals are at -12b maximum level. I use ProFX and 16Bit/48kHz ASIO setting. In kX-Mixer I see 2 green bars for each activated ASIO pair, but the bars are just at 20% of the possible length. With kX3550 it is the same problem. Wave output (direct sound) is loud and clear up to 0db, I see 2 red bars at full length on kX-Mixer. Have I missed something?! The card is an Audigy2ZS SB0350, OS is WinXP prof.

Re: Low ASIO volume in kx3545 and up

Sorry TravelRec, my hard drive died so I am without kX at the moment. I do not recall the signal level being low, but I have not done a whole lot of ASIO recording recently, so I cannot say for sure.

BTW: Make sure you are using ProFx v3.10 or v3.11 (depending on kX version), and if you are using 3545, make sure it is 3545b.

Re: Low ASIO volume in kx3545 and up

Hi Russ, thank you for your reply. I double checked this behaviour with another computer and with Audigy1 SB0090 - and all is fine. Levels are okay. I think, the problem is either related to the Audigy2 or a fault setting the other computer system. Driver packages are both 3550 with ProFX3.11. Maybe a user with the SB0350 can verify the issue. And sorry for your screwed HD

I'm running an SB0350 with Windows 7 32bit and I also max out at -12dB with foobar's volume maxed out.
