sb0610 only central speaker works

sb0610 only central speaker works
hi,

i have windows 7 x64 installed. Soundcard as in topic. I've just installed kx drivers, version 3550. Of course i've uninstalled previous drivers (Daniels K).

Unfortunately it doesn't work properly. Only central speaker and subwoofer work. Front and rear speakers are silent.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Check windows audio panel ans set your default output to SPDIF/AC3, see if that helps.

In KX mixer, check the speaker output settings (little speaker icon in the top row), also "toggle Front/Rear" may need to be unchecked. There is also a speaker config in Win7 but I don't have 7 at the moment, It's an "advanced" button I believe on the audio panel. I'm not a surround pro (meaning I don't have that setup) but these are your places to check and make changes.

The SPDIF/AC3 works for most that have tried it, Master Mixer may work but have noise. While in there (win7 audio panel) you can see on the little meters where signal is by the green bars....





BTW. Speaker test in KX mixer doesn't work so don't use it.

ok, it works fine now.
I've back to defaults (i had made some changes in mixer) and then changed in windows options to spdif/ac3 output.
