Multiple Live!s, timing drifts!
The reason, of course, is that both soundcards sample at slightly different rates.
The drift is signifigant enough that I can tune Cubase to be correct at the beginning of the song, and by the end of the song, it sounds like a junior high band, with rushing clarinets and dragging trombones! My question, then, is: is there a way to force my Soundblaster Live! to sync to a different clock from its own, perhaps that of the other Live!? Eventually I plan to have 4 Live!'s in this computer (or maybe another computer), for multitracking use (16 channels of multitrack, costs only $120, yummm!) and if I can't settle this syncing issue, well, then this is a waste of time. Thanks in advance for any input.... |

unfortunally, no, there's not. (well, untill you'll try to make some _phisycal hardware modifications_ like "cloaking" of all cards from the same "quartz" - theoretically this is possible but... ).
