Re: Microphone Issue

Some of that was done in some previous versions too... I would have to look at the 3551 SDK to see what is different...

Re: Microphone Issue

none of my stuff that was compiled for 3550 ran in 3551

but then ... even when recompiled for 3551, the damned sliders wouldn't budge

Good to know... I will probably have to update some of my plugins then (eventually)...

ProFX is a little less susceptible to changes in the SDK because it does not use the kX GUI (MFC) stuff, but again I do not know if it will work with 3551...

You mean for the 64 bit version, right? Did the 32 bit version of your plugins work (without recompile)?

nope, I mean the 32bit version ... I wont even try to go to 64bit until the proper proFX plugins work

Re: Microphone Issue

Hmm, for some reason I thought the slider issue was only with 64 bit version of kX.... I guess I will have to go re-read about that issue (maybe I have it confused with another issue)...

[edit]
I did not realize that you had tried the 3550 version of ProFX (with 3551) and it did not work for you... so I guess that answers that question.

Re: Microphone Issue

Unmute the AC97 slider on the Recording page, and set level to 0 dB.
