Hi Everyone:

First post for me here, be gentle.

I am using a very old Sound Blaster 5.1 card, and I have it working nicely with Cubase 5.1. I recently installed Absynth 5 and while I thought I configured everything I can not hear any sounds either as a stand alone or as a VST plugin.

I can see the "Out" meter in Absynth changing levels when I play my midi keyboard, but there is nothing at all happening in the "In" meter.

The midi configuration in Absynth has everything turned to "on" by the way, but still nothing. I assume that there is something amiss with the "input" but I do not know how to change what is there by default. It all points to my Kx drivers, at any rate.

I am not sure what else to say at this point. I was sort of hoping that using it has a VST plugin through Cubase would work but no joy with that.

Solved. Sort of. I don't know how but be mucking around with the Kx drivers and Cubase settings I managed to get Absynth to work as a VST Instrument.
