can't load gig file bigger than 512 mb
Thanks for such great kX Audio driver.
I'm having a difficulty when I try to load gig file that is bigger than 512 mb, such as GigaPiano or Garritan Strings CD1. Is it that because kX Audio driver only can support up to 512 mb? When should I wait that it has unlimited(or big enough to load up to 3 gig) GSIF buffer size? Plz help anybody. Thanks! |

(E. fixme) GSIF buffer size is no way related to maximum amount of memory available for Giga samples... It seems to me that this problem has nothing to do with kX at all...

um
I do have 512 mega byte DDRAM.
But what does amount of RAM have to do with GSIF? GSIF suppose to run a sample in the hard drive. Hm! |

Well, Now I want to make sure
Isn't GSIF suppose to preload samples in the RAM,
and when the RAM is out of space, then use hard drive to sample it out? Oh, bytheway. When I load Giga Piano or such, This program errors. "Convext WaveStream Messenger" What the hell is this stuff? Plz answer me. Thx |

"Convext WaveStream Messenger" You're probably using an old version of Gigastudio cause this was a known issue. It has been resolved in v2.54

Yes it would. At least it helped me (and lots of other people having this problem for a long time now).
