Hi Everyone. I have been using kx drivers for my SB Live! 5.1 card for a while, now with the newest ones, and here's what's happening:
Sometimes, some games (like Prototype) happen to have an annoying audio stuttering, video lags as consequence, needless to say, the whole thing gets messed up. I have, tho, read on some other topics/forums that if we change the bitrate on the speaker settings to either 48000khz Studio or 44000, this problem disappears. However, I cannot confirm this. I use the SPDIF/AC3 output as main (to use copy sound over all my speakers when 5.1 is not present, such as with mp3), and in the windows sound settings, that one option to change this is in grey. Is there anything I can do to change this? Thanks in advance and I apologize if there's anything written in a bad way, english is not my native language.
