Something really funny with the routing
Okay, just look at this image with DSP setup and some Audition 3 controls in the background.
http://artefact.lib.ru/img_news/kx_audition.jpg "Line In," as it's supposed to, carries 2 mono signals: guitar through the left channel and mike through the right one. The "Peak" proves that pretty firmly: when I say a word, the right column dances, and the left one raises when I pull a string. Very easy. Can anyone tell my WHY the 1st audition track (set to "[01M] kx In 00") records only the mike? To me, it's obvious that "[01M] kx In 00" corresponds to the guitar, when mike must be found at "[02M] kx In 01"? When I connect 0 and 1 ASIO inputs to the "Pans" I use on each channel -- yes, it works perfectly. The upper "Pan" captures the mike, and the lower one captures the guitar. Does't that mean that the signals are where they must be? But, provided I connect ASIO directly to "Line In", I can record either the mike or nothing, depending on number of wires used. Of course I can re-connect the wires every time I need to change something, but why doesn't it work the easy way I suggest? I guess there's something I'm getting wrong about the whole system. Please help |

Re: Something really funny with the routing
The "wires" going to each pan is backwards,ie crossed.
