CarPC with Audigy 2 ZS and no sound :(
Hi Guys,
I just setting up my new CarPC with Audigy 2 ZS and KX Driver 3550. Problem is: No sound ![]() Its running under WinXP SP3. What I did so far is connecting the Front Out of my Card to my Speakers. (some constellation including the onboard sound works, so no failure in cable or something else). I throw everything out except FX Bus and Epilog and I connected FX Bus 8000 --> Analog Front Left FX Bus 8001 --> Analog Front Right Right? When I click on the Analyzer it shows 2 red bars between the green/blue ones as soon as I start the music. When I stop the music, the bars change their status from red to all blue/green, so something must have happened. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Sebastian |

have you tried rear out? The default for kx is swap front/rear ... I believe this is also the case for audigy 2, even though it makes no difference with them (compared to live/5.1 that have better DAC's for rear out)

AW: CarPC with Audigy 2 ZS and no sound :(
Hi,
Yes thats it, i put the cable in black instead of green line out and then it worked, thanks. any idea how to add time balancing? i hope thats the correct word, i only know the german word for it its used for put a small delay in a audio signal to balance that one speaker is farther away than the other (in a car e.g). I heared that there is a plugin called thedelay but i cant find it.

I am using v3537, but it seems not to be included there. a higher version is not possible as i need the UFX package and UFX 3537 is the highest. installing UFX 3537 as a plugin to KX 3550 results in an error. is there an additional download for time balance 2? i found the thread here where the thread founder said: no download link as it is included already. but that doesnt help me

there's a UFX for 3550 on this page - Plugins in Uniform ("UFX")

Works!
![]() Any preferences for the crossover? Via EQ P5 or should I take the highpass/low pass plugin and the EQ P5 just for adjusting the frequency-response curve? |
