Hi there,
I was just thinking about to buy an EMU 1820m on ebay to upgrad my SB Audigy 2 ZS. Besides the HQ Analog Outputs, I mainly would use the Digital Outs of the 1820. Do you think as I am using only digital outputs, there is a noticeable soundquality improvement against the audigy 2 zs? Is it true, that 44.1 Khz content doesn't get resampled on the 1820m when using DSP? As I understand from the manual, 44.1/48 Khz don't get resampled, while 96/192 Khz would be resampled when using DSP Effects. I mainly hear 44.1 Content, so this might a improvement? Thank you!!! |

Re : EMU 1820m vs. SB Audigy 2 ZS
1820m don't support 44.1 , and AC3 .
i think for DO only this is not necessary to use that one compared to SB, but for analog use it's really better. cheers |
