Soundblaster Live! - Distorted sound

Hello,

first of all, I love the support you've been providing for my orphan Soundblaster Live! driver. However, I had, as an intermittent problem (and now everytime Windows 7 starts) problems with metallic, distorted sounds. The only way to revert it back to normal is to kill kxmixer.exe and to restart it.

Do you think you guys can address this problem? Can I do something to improve on the situation? I'll do whatever testings you ask me to do, as long as it doesn't involve dissassembling my card (I'm not an electronics guy, sorry).

I assume you're using the latest drivers.

So, go to the Buffers Config, and adjust them like this:

256 kb
9600 bytes
65536 bytes
16 buffers
2048 samples

This is for using Master Mixer (needed for surround sound)
