Several Issues - Win7 64 Bit 8G Ram Audigy 2

I got the driver installed, and I would love to be able to use it, but there are problems!
When I do the speaker test, it says unable to play audio on every output, yet I CAN get sound!
Sound crackled and popped badly, but sounded good when I changed default output to wAVE Out 2/3
Even when sitting with NO sound, there is a faint 'record static' sound in the background.
On the 'rewire' diagram, the box second from the left, if I double clicked it, it froze up my whole computer. This was the same as one of the options on the right click menu.

I love the functionality, but I can't use it like this. Currently uninstalled, if someone has ideas, I'll re--install.
