KX, Windows 7 x64, "clicks"
Well, problem is known, on Windows 7 it's needed to change buffers settings to avoid "clicks" in sound. I'm using two sound cards (SB Live! Gold - CT4620 and SB Audigy - SB0231). After increasing buffers I got rid of clicks in system sounds and Winamp, but when I play e.g movie in mpeg4, or talk on skype I still got clicks (but not all the time) - it happens on both sound cards. I'm using driver version 3550.
Anybody have suggestions? Or maybe somebody use the same cards in Windows 7 and can share it's settings? |

Don't use "Master Mixer" as your output device in Windows audio panel. Try SPDIF/AC3 instead. You should be able to run this output with default buffer settings and no "clicks"
