dont find this Getting started guide??

Hello i am new to this forum.
I have read for 4 hours now and seach after this kX Project: Knowledgebase: kX Getting Started Guide - Microphone Setup but it seems the link is broken?? Someone have this guide??? I have installed an old Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1 in Windows 7 and get sound but i cant get the mic to run. I have the Headphones to the green input and the mic to the Pink input on my card. plzz someone who can help me. Or do i have to buy a new card? //Thanks

I do not know what happened to the guide...

As for the MIC:
Go to the "Recording" page of kX Mixer, unmute the "AC97 Recording Level" slider, and set the level to 0 dB.

Go to the "AC97" page of kxmixer and select "MIC" as the AC97 Recording source (from the drop down selection box). Enable MIC boost if desired, and/or adjust "Analog Recording Gain".

Make sure that you select the kX driver for input in your recording application.

Hello and thanks so much. It works now. But i dont get a good sound it crackle its very bad sound from the mic when i test it in skype. I have now tryed Mic boost on/off Gain etc. I have to buy a Asus DS soundcard today .
