SB0228 & Front/Rear channel swap

Hi everyone! I have a question.

Since Live 5.1 SB0228 doesn't have that separate Philips DAC for rear channel (at least, I wasn't able to find the DAC on my pcb, using the photo of CT4830 card as a reference) , should I ignore driver's recommendation to use that channel swapping?

P.S. I use headphones with my soundcard and the only difference I clearly hear is that green connector plays like three times louder than the black one.

Green jack has a headphone amp, black jack doesn't, and if using headphones exclusively the green jack is the proper jack to use.
