Can't stop recording via speakers
I have win 7 and my mic records what I hear, I can;t can;t talk on skype like that when ppl hear my games >.<;
I have headset with mic. Only the headset is enabled and the front mic (headset plugs are in the front). I have a speaker, connected to the back but it;s turned off almost always... I dunno what to do to make it stop... My mic boost is maxed since they can;t hear me otherwise... I am using a program called "VIA HD Audio deck" dunno if it says anything...but it came with my sound card. I am using mobo:M4A88T-M Graphic card:Gigabyte ati radeon HD 5770 |

In any case, you (the OP) would be better off posting your question in a forum specific to whatever sound card (and driver) you are using (i.e. OEM forum), or possibly here: Audio General and Technical Discussion Last edited by Russ; Feb 7, 2011 at 01:50 AM. |

Welcome to HardwareHeaven! ![]() Go to the Windows Control panel/ Hardware and Sound/Sound and click the Recording tab. There, select the input that says "microphone" and set it as the Defaut Recording Device. That should fix your problem of others hearing any audio playing back on your PC. All they should hear, after you do what I said, is what you say in the microphone. |
