Win7 x64, 3550, CT4760
Hello. Im using CT4760 soundcard. Need some help...
I installed win7 x86 first (i had 2gb ram) and it worked well with 3550 kx drivers. On default settings there was stereo sound when selected wave out 6/7 as default device. and thats what i need. After that i added 2gb more and installed win7 x64, i faced there's no sound on default driver settings. All hardware is the same, just with 4gb ram. I tried all wave out's and master mixer - no sound. Though sound indicator in windows mixer is jumping like there is sound, but nothing in the speakers. Please can anyone help. All i need is to get stereo sound from one of the card output's. Thanx in advance. |

silvertones, wow! really i hear sound, but hardly able to recognize it from strong hiss and distortion... but it's much more than silence in rest analog outputs (i tried all outputs before, except spdif)... is it possible to confugure driver to remove that hiss and distortion?

What program are you using as the source of the sound? I don't have that issue at all. levels too high?

I suggest to simplify things that you learn how to first clear the DSP and then build a very basic setup and have wav0,1 go to your front outs. Of course as mention in KX DSP panel it'll be labeled wav 0,1. In your software wav 0,1 will be labeled SPIDF/AC3 There's a nice tutorial for making your own DSP. |

I'm having the same problem (no sound being produced) but choosing SPDIF/AC3 doesn't fix it.

SPDIF/AC3 doesn't fix a "no sound" issue........ It's less noisy than master mixer.
For "no sound", which output jack are you using? KX swaps front and rear by default.....
