Every music I hear, every game I play with my good old Sb Live! I always thank you!

BTW, any words on the driver development??

The 3551 alpha is very good for me, except for the "silders not working" problem in DSP. It's annoying, but I figured that setting the dsp in 3550 and saving the config, I could later load the settings in 3551 and enjoy the same settings on the new driver...

Me and many others are waiting anxiously for news about these wonderful drivers!!!

Indeed, very good news, kX Audio drivers may be some 10 years old but there is still people out there using them. I don't plan stop using my Audigy 2 ZS anytime soon and I'm always anxiously checking this forum every now and then in case there would be an updated version to try out.

I love the work you've put down into it, would be extremely nice with those last major Windows 7 issues fixed, for me it works perfectly fine as I'm a headphone user and staying away from Master Mixer and I haven't got any problems with the sliders but maybe it's cuz I load the settings saved from an older driver?

One thing I've always wondered, how come the 10-band EQ in these drivers is just so much better working than any other EQ I've tried, incl Creative's own drivers? No EQ usually allows major boost to the frequencies without lowering the pre-amp slider, hence resulting in a louder output volume at the same volume setting, how come this EQ can handle that so well and doesn't distort or color the frequencies? I tried just out of curiousity using 3 EQs and boosted it to the top and it didn't distort altough I had to lower volume sliders to nearly the bottom to avoid getting deaf.

If the Wave volume slider is not at 100%, and/or the Master Volume level is not at 100% (and/or the individual speakers volume levels (Ins and Outs page) are below 0 dB), and/or anything else in the DSP is reducing the signal level, then you gain some headroom in the DSP that might prevent clipping under settings that might cause clipping with a software EQ. Beyond that, I do not know...

I'm still on 3545 ,but when the final will pop out ,i will install it ,hoping to improve in the best possible way that old farty Audigy.
Just wil have to remember staff like sf2 trouble things, mentioned elsewhere.

Anyway ,that very project is the most user friendly audio-related stuff that exists ,Imho .
And so deep dedication through the years too.
Everytime i advice those drivers ,people get rid of original ones forever
