kx mixer settings

Hi everybody, I'm happy a user of SB0092, kx driver 3551 on win7 x64.
I managed to make kx mixer to load at startup, but I still have to adjust all the time the setup buffers( from 8.7 to 10 ms) to have a great audio quality.
Is there a way to automate this? Can I set as default to 10ms ?

Thank you

Re: kx mixer settings

The normal way is to change the setting, then save the settings through right-clicking on the kX tray icon, choose Settings and then Save Settings. In any case where you may have used more than one configuration file before, manually loading the recently saved one might be a good idea. If this does not make the buffer setting apply at the next startup there is likely something that has gone wrong during the installation of kx 3551. There has been some installation problems mentioned earlier and it's an experimental version, though I can't remember having any problems with a clean installation(uninstalling any previous version first). I'm using 10.00ms buffer as well, that solved any noise problems I encountered. Good luck.

Re: kx mixer settings

Sorry for not mentioned, I have tried that. Save settings creates a kxdefault.kx file in C/Windows/system32 but after restart I have the same initial ~8.70 ms settings. Thank you, anyway.

actually, you don't need to save the settings - the settings should be remembered after reboot

my guess ... yet another 3551 bug
