Strange noises with SBLive! and kx

Win7 64bit, latest kx drivers, SBLive.

i have random cracks and other garbage with sound, and only when sound is playing (ie im playing music at foobar, it starts to crack and snap after few minuts, then i press pause and everything is ok)
i havent such problems in winxp and the same card...

what can i do? its annoying, because it happens all the time randomly and very often...

Try the SPDIF/AC3 output in Windows audio panel instead of Master Mixer....

Guitar rig "should" see KX ASIO as is, just a matter of selecting the right inputs, unmuting, setting volumes, etc. in KX mixer......

"Should" is bolded and quotated because I think there's still some bugs if you are using Win7 64bit..... Not sure on that. I'm in the process of setting up a bunch of new stuff (hardware) and haven't tried KX under Win7 64 yet. Check the forums... there will be some threads about this.

Re: Strange noises with SBLive! and kx

well.. GR sees only direct sound and multimedia, not asio interface :/ all forum threads i found were from 2005-2006 :/

2-3years ago i used GR at win xp with kx, but i used custom dsp with asio plugin, then evething worked. now dsp controls are diffrent and i dont know where to plug the asio one..

edit: i plugged asio control in (i belive) right place and it still doesnt appear in guitar rig list... :/

Re: Strange noises with SBLive! and kx

kX ASIO not available (in 64 bit host)

ASIO for 64-bit Windows

There may be more and I don't know if anythings been resolved..... These are new"ish" threads. You must have been looking in the wrong section.

Also, make sure you have the 64bit version of anything, guitar rig/DAW/VST etc. under 64bit Windows. 32bit just adds more headache.
