hello,
i'm running kx 3550 x86 with sblive 5.1 on windows xp sp2. when using programs like skype (or teamspeak) in combination with streaming software like Flash Media Encoder, under "recording device" for these programs there is only one listed device, which is the "KX Wave 0/1". the thing i'm trying to achieve is to be able to record the "stereo mix" ("what you hear") at the streaming program (FME), but for voice programs like skype to _only_ record the microphone. i'm aware that kx handles its own recording mixer, but i'm assuming the above would only be possible if there are more devices listed like 2/3, 3/4 for "recording" source in these programs. i've seen this being possible on newer versions on windows and different sound cards and drivers. is this a limitation of the kx driver / windows xp or perhaps it might be possible to do with some sort of routing? -- Last edited by dosbox; May 30, 2011 at 02:18 AM. |
