Will installing these drivers fix What U Hear recording?
Workaround for Audigy 2 ZS recording problems on Windows 7 64-bit
This article outlines the issue I have with the Creative drivers, which I haven't been able to fix - not even with the daniel_k drivers. The only known work-around is to reduce total RAM to 3 GB, and I'd rather not do that. I'm using an Audigy 2 ZS and I'm on 64-bit Windows 7. |

While I don't run 64bit myself, but I seem to recall that kx drivers HAD similar issues that have been fixed in version 3550. A quick search of the forum hasn't yielded any useful results
It can't hurt to try them though

Re: Will installing these drivers fix What U Hear recording?
I'm running 4GB of ram in Windows 7 x64 and no issues with playback or recording, it was fixed in the kX Audio drivers. Obviously Windows 7 isn't really THAT compatible with these drivers yet but if you for example only need stereo output then it would work perfectly fine like I'm using only headphones as long as you use something else than the default "Master Mixer" output device that still has this static noise issue (which would be needed for 5.1/7.1 speaker setups to work properly)
