Optical out from Audigy 1 ?

I have my audigy 1 connected through the proprietary digital out to my DTS3500 for digital 5.1 sound.

Now i bought a headset with external receive which accepts optical input - what would be the best way to connect this to the audigy?

Can i use a generic Coax to Toslink converter?
