24 Bit Support and Win8 Dev Preview?

Are there any plans to port the kxDrivers for the 1212M PCI (non express) to Windows 8 Developer Preview? I have an old 1212M PCI card and I can't get it to work in Windows 8 Developer Preview. I have tried the following:
  1. Windows Vista 64 bit Drivers for 1212M from Creative/EMU
  2. Windows 7 Beta 64 bit Drivers for 1212M from Creative/EMU
  3. kx 64 bit Drivers for 1212M
None of the above options seem to work for me. I contacted Creative Labs/EMU Tech Support and as usual they aren't saying anything. This leads me to believe that they won't release Windows 8 drivers for the 1212M PCI unless it happens to fall out for free while they are working on Windows 8 drivers for the 1212m PCIe, but even if Creative/EMU does release such drivers, I'm guessing it will probaby be a year or two *after* Windows 8 has been on the market. It seems like it took Creative/EMU quite a while before the finally decided to release beta Windows 7 drivers to the 1212m PCI and even after about a year from the last release, I think those drivers are still in beta status.

I'm growing tired of having to buy new hardware with each new release of a Windows Operating System. Also, not upgrading to a newer Windows OS isn't a very good options becuase failing to upgrade to newer Windows Operating Systems will eventually leave you vunerable to security issues...

Regards,

Fubman

Umm, Windows 7 will serve you good for years, it'll be the next Windows XP which will get updates and stuff for many years to come still.
