Asio Latency
hello, i think this not so easy to say. it depens, what machine do you have, and is it optimal configured. on my P3/500 on an BX-board, with standard-pc under w2k and backgroundservices, i can set 2,66ms. and it is the same for audigy or live cards. regards, gerald

But then why use KX
What benifit do the KX drivers give the user if the regular creative drivers can get around 2.66ms.

why use KX ?
i had a latency of 60ms with the creative asio driver. and in kx you can load some plugins directly into the dsp or write your own. and you can connect with virtual wires in the dsp. so i, for example have for every input i use a seperate adjustment and i always use only asio in 0 and 1. have a look on this http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/aw_k/record-shot.gif or this http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/aw_k/dsp.gif or search the forum for more. regards
