Kx drivers SB220 low volume

Hi, I am new on the Forum.
I have problem with sound volume using KX Drivers.
I use Sb Live (SB220), and I have 2 stereo speakers.
Output sound is very quiet - in Windows Mixer I have Master and Wave on the max.
Is there any chances to increse the volume?
Thx for any answers.

Re: Kx drivers SB220 low volume

What version of kX?
What model number is shown in the bottom right corner of kxmixer?
What OS? (Windows XP?)

I assume the volume level is not normal for these speakers? Try reconnecting the speakers to the sound card (i.e. make sure plug is fully inserted in the jack, etc).

Make sure kX Wave 0/1 is set as the default device for Windows.

If your speakers are connected to the green jack, then uncheck the "Toggle Swap Front and Rear" option on the Main page of kxmixer. If they are connected to the black jack, then make sure that option is checked.

Check kX's speaker settings (for a 2.0 setup, you might want to use the 2.0 Surround Mix preset).

Check the volume level in your audio application(s), to make sure any volume controls it might have (separate from the wave or master volumes) are set appropriately, etc.

Make sure the individual speaker volumes at the top of the "Ins and Outs" page in kxmixer are set to 0 db (you can bump up the volume here, but you may get distortion).

Beyond the above, I do not know, it is possible that there is a problem with the speakers or the sound card... Are you able to test these speakers with another device? Do you have other speakers you can test with?
