Hi guys

I installed KXdrivers in windows 7 with my sblive value card, the sound works perfectly in windows (mp3, sound, etc), the problem is 3d sound in the games, i dont have 3d sound or positional sound, only some kind of stereo sound in the games, example in cod 4 i dont know where my enemy is I can hear where is coming from.

I use Headphones.

Please help !!!!

Hi! Try my settings and remember to use SPDIF/AC3 Output in windows 7 64bit. In this way I've a perfect positional AUDIO, it's vital set every game with a 5.1 output.

Everything will be converted in a 2.1 surround for headphone (I use a very high quality headphone from AKG)

Here it is my config:

I use even 5.1 speakers in surrounder+ despite using headphones, to me the positioning/soundstage is sliiiiiightly improved over using 2.1. Also since I use a very tiny amount reverb effect with CLEAXReverb2 "auditorium", the reverb also sounds A LOT better with 5.1 speakers, sounds excessive with 2.1 and weird at anything above "2" on the Reverb volume slider and with 5.1 speakers I find 4~5 or so to be the optimal and it brings a very natural sounding reverb.
