AC3/DTS recording question

I haven't been around in awhile but I have an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum and wanted to start direct recording AC3/DTS again (had it working long time ago but forgot process). Anyway, does the process still working only under XP 32bit with the KX drivers? Last time I tried KX didn't worked too well with windows 7 64bit. Also, is direct recording or AC3/DTS possible with creative's official drivers (or Daniel K's modded version)?
