easy going ? kx + soundstorm ?
hi,
i have a short question. is ist possible to install and run the kxdrivers for my sblive value without serious problems and use my onboard soundcard (soundstorm nforce2) for gaming at the same time ? i´m doing some recording with cubase and need the asio support, because i want to play the drums live over a softwaresampler (battery). the latest nforce drivers support asio, but they dont work very well (and the sound quality of the onboard codecs are almost poor)...

i have a working setup of 2x sbLive and the onboard MAX soundcard. works ok for me. but i dont know if the nforce is ok with that - i guess it should work but its more a nforce/windows question than a kX question.

i also think it´s working
i have 2 different soundcards in one pc, 1 audigy and 1 dsp 24value from hoontech. i can start one wavelab with the asiodriver from the dsp24 and then start another wavelab-instance with the kx-asio. both cards can play different songs. when you can choose the nforce in games, there should be no problem. regards, gerald

Works fine, but in my system (below) the soundstorm mixer only works if the "NVIDA nForce Audio" is the standard device. The kx mixer finds the soundblaster automaticallly, so no problem if it's the standard device or not.
