KXAuto and Doepfer Pocket Dial

hello. i'd like to control the effects in DSP with my MIDI controller (doepfer pocket dial), so i tried to configure the KXAuto but it doesn't work; i assigned a special channel/controller to one knob on my controller (with a specific program), and i did the same under KXAuto, for exemple on a [Vol] effect. but when i'm turning the knob nothing happens. do i have forgotten something ?!!
