Errors with registering a skin

Hey groep

I am trying to install the brushed alu skin but ik get 2 errors

1) skin version is invalid [ok]

2) Error with registering new skin, invalid file format [OK]

I get this with every skin i try, am i missing something or is this really an error??

I unpacked the rar archive into the program directory en try to select it via the rightnmouse context menu
Any help appriciated

aluminum skin isn't compatible with newer version of the driver. It's kind of old and has not been updated. It was a great looking skin though!!!

Ok thanks Daniel. Just after I posted here I d/ld a couple of skins by Chris McCartney
that slotted in no probs and are easier to read than the default skin. Maybe I'll fire up Pshop soon
