Music playblack
Would the KX driver would be better than the default Creative drivers just for music playback? I Just want to get good sound output, should i still use the KX driver or use the creative drivers. I am no musician.

Hmmm,
to playback music every driver works well. There´s no quality difference. If you can miss the features of kx (like instant effects and free routing) then you also could use creative. I think, the quality of music is the most important thing here. Wave sounds fine, no driver can make a bad mp3 better. And want you hear only stereo music or encoded 5.1 or something else? I use only stereo mode connecting a headphone to the front out of the soundcard, and listen to Mp3s as well as my Audio cds.

It has more to do with what kind of speakers you are using. I got a pair of new ones last week. And the clarity of the sound was a lot better. if thats relevant.

I am using a Philips HP 890 Headphone set, very good quality , costing 125$ in the US market and as good as the Sennheiser HD 480 set.
