kx and tv card

I have a pinnacle studio pctv card and I can't seem to figure out how to rec audio using these kx drivers when I'm recording clips of tv programs.
It is plugged into the aux channel of sblive and it's using avance ac97 as source. I can hear sound, but can't record it.
Any suggestions?

I can only rec with the tv cards software for sync purposes.

That´s could be the problem, but I don´t know enough about your card-software and the signal flow to say something more. Please give more details!

In the setting part of my tv card the option I have is the avance ac97 for audio. Normally it would sblive. I have play back set to aux in, and rec set to stereo mix, but I've tried all the rest of the options also. I've looked thru previous posts and have seen some others with same prob, but no fixes. wiin98se, athlon 1ghz . I've tried to set multimedia dev to avance ac97, but it seems to only work when it wants to. No updated drivers from tv card website either. thanx

Hi!

What do you think about a loop-back wiring between TV-Card and SB-Live (TV audio out --> SB line in or so), if possible, internally. Then let the TV-Card play what it wants and record the line in (AC97) of SB-Live.
It´s just an idea...

I decided to go to aps live drivers instead and the seem just as good as the kx drivers, plus the tv records perfectly now. thanx for all the help though
