Sblive 5.1 Drivers

How do I completley remove all the creative drivers for my system?

Try using Add/Remove programs. That should do it.

Thanks. I've tried that but the drivers keep instsalling themselves.

That's a windows thing, you can try Driver Cleaner http://www.hardwareheaven.com/cleaner/

Search the registry for Creative and delete it all. Also delete the Creative Labs directories you may have under program files etc. Serch your computer for files starting with sb, check which one's are related to sblive and delete them also. Delete all the .inf files in your computer that may be related to Creative. That way your soundcard won't be recognized anymore as a Creative Labs product and you can make a clean install of KX.

follow me:

Open your root drive,example c:, open c:\windows\system, and find file:emu10k1*.*, delete it. and open c:\windows\inf, find emu10k1*.inf, delete it. now you can reboot your system, and window system will not install drivers auto.
