I`m using SB Audigy2 sound card, and my Win XP detects few sound devices after installing kX drivers (0/1; 4/5; 6/7; 8/9; HQ) What are the diffrences between each other? Which one is best for playback from mp3? I`m using Foobar2000 0.7.1 for playback.
If there is some kind of FAQ or manual which explains it please direct me to it. Thanks in advence. |

RTFM!!!
This info is easily available in KX help which can be accessed by KX icon in your windows tray. "A: 'Wave 0/1', 'Wave 4/5', 'Wave 6/7', 'Wave 8/9' are the only wave devices available for WinMM / DirectSound applications. They are routed to the corresponding FxBusses, that is, 'Wave 0/1' is routed to 'stereo' mix which goes to 'front' output by default, 'Wave 4/5' is routed to front only, 'Wave 6/7' is routed to rear only, 'Wave 8/9' is routed to center and subwoofer. Read our Routing guide for details. "
