??? Difference between devices?

I`m using SB Audigy2 sound card, and my Win XP detects few sound devices after installing kX drivers (0/1; 4/5; 6/7; 8/9; HQ) What are the diffrences between each other? Which one is best for playback from mp3? I`m using Foobar2000 0.7.1 for playback.

If there is some kind of FAQ or manual which explains it please direct me to it.

Thanks in advence.

RTFM!!!

This info is easily available in KX help which can be accessed by KX icon in your windows tray.

"A: 'Wave 0/1', 'Wave 4/5', 'Wave 6/7', 'Wave 8/9' are the only wave devices available for WinMM / DirectSound applications. They are routed to the corresponding FxBusses, that is, 'Wave 0/1' is routed to 'stereo' mix which goes to 'front' output by default, 'Wave 4/5' is routed to front only, 'Wave 6/7' is routed to rear only, 'Wave 8/9' is routed to center and subwoofer.
Read our Routing guide for details. "
