HunterZ is on a distinguished road

Just installed them along with the KXP Skin and UFX effects. I cleared and reinitialized the DSP, then unloaded the Equalizer and Peak effects and when I attempted to directly connect the Front Left Out of Surrounder to the Analog Front Left (swapped) of Epilog, I get a crash in kxmixer.exe/kxfxlib.kxl. I tried switching to the Aqua skin and the same thing happened.

I just tried replacing the UFX surrounder with the kX one, and the crash still occurs - even if I don't unload the EQ and Peak effects first.

Working fine here, even with LeMury's and Max's add-on plugins.

Hi all there!

Tested new 3536 - so far so good:

Wavelab -> no problems
Cubase VST -> no problems
WinAmp3 -> no problems
ufx34 -> no problems (!) tested with EQ10, P-EQ5, Gain, PeakX etc.
LeMury´s "Src" & "k2lt" & "Asio" -> no problems

All tests with standard Aqua-skin and standard update.

Greetinx!

TravelRec.

P.S. Eugene: thankx for alphabetical fx-order -> much better now !

Could someone testing 3536a please try changing the inputs to the default Epilog effect and see if it causes a crash? It seems that if I change any of the Epilog inputs, the mixer crashes on me. I'm using a SB0240 10k2 (Audigy 2 Platinum w/LiveDrive), WinXP SP1, DX9.0b, UFX34, kXP skin. I've pretty much ruled out UFX and the kXP skin as factors in the crash, but please feel free to do your own tests to verify that. Thanks.

BTW, it looks like Robert's problem may be similar to mine, but he didn't give enough details.

Maybe to early to tell, but;
Yep, same here. As soon as I try to re-route to Epilog, kmixer.exe crashes on kxfxlib.kxl.

I de-installed previous versions, did NOT register any other plugin (even not my own).
Did several "Reset Global Settings" etc.etc..

Well, I'll try some more....no problem.

Chocolla,

You did not understand my post! I said; " I will try some more,.....*that* is no problem".

As for the bug;
It happens only with 'new' Epilog, (the older versions don't crash).
When you click on one of Epilog's 'nodes' it tries to Highlight and then crashes.

Looks like a minor GUI bug, so relax people......

Hello all

Just installed the drivers as well as LeMury's plugins and everything works great except of course the epilog. However it's not that important now that I've had a chance to use the 'k2lt' from LeMury. Other then that, everything is perfect on my machine running these drivers

Peace all

MX6 works with 3536a here. You must use the version of MX6 that comes bundled with the drivers and not install a new (or older) version of it.

mAlo,
>>everything works, exept the MX6

The newest version of MX6 is already included (bundled) into 3536.
So don't register or use the one you may have downloaded from the forum.
(You may have to re-load MX6 from the kX fx menu in your setups)

I've unpacked the kx setup files putting the above kxfxlib.kxl in the directory, then ran kxsetup.exe.

There is still the bug of the right hand side of the peak meter bleeding across by approximately 1 pixel into the left when vertically orientated.

Sorry to be pedantic.

I know. This is also the case if you switch the original 'Peak' plugin into Vertical Mode.
What surprises me more, is that no one noticed (reported) that the Graphical readout
is 'off' in Vertical mode for both MX6 and Peak.

I'll fix this in MX6 when I have some time left.

Upload 2 instances of 'Peak',
apply a test signal (e.g. wave generator) to both of them,
switch one of them into vertical mode,
compare the graphical readout.
They are slightly 'off'.

http://members.lycos.nl/lemury/vu_diff.html

Numeric readout is correct in both cases.

Just noticed:

When the DSP is Reinitilized, output volume is set to 100% but the sliders are not updated to reflect this.
