Smilie What a wonderful driver

Ever since I bought my HIFI-system and the Audigy soundcard around the same time I have always been a bit dissapointed in my Subwoofer....I didnt seem to be fast enough to play a fast and firm bassline ....

Well i just installed the KXproject rescently and this improved my sub A LOT ... It seems that my system has been pumped up with new life....

Guess Creatives drivers is somehow coloring the sound to match low performance desktop speakers by adding more power to the sub 200 Hz frequencys....

and BTW this is not a psychological-effect ... Others have noticed my systems improved performance to...

I was just wondering if any of you guys has noticed the same performance gain ?

Loudspeakers: JBL-TI2000
Subwoofer: Yamaha YST-SW-320 <-- Really rocks btw

Don't know about performance differences, but I can vouch for the subwoofer improvement. I have a 2.1 speaker setup (2 satellites and a subwoofer) and when using the Creative drivers I couldn't use the discrete subwoofer output in 2 speaker mode (i.e. you can't do true 2.1 - just 2.0), so I had to do some wire splicing. Now with kX, I can use the subwoofer output on my Audigy 2 to get rich sounding bass without having to do any ugly splicing. It actually sounds much better for some reason.
