Spanish Translators Check in here

Greetings,

Since Eugene requested we start a new thread, I did. Put your name down here.

Does anyone want to be the jefe grande of the Spanish translators? I am a native English speaker. I spent 6 years in Bolivia so my Spanish is OK but far from perfect. Anyone want to be the boss?

At least list your name and send me personal message.

Doug

Gracias.

Spanish driver translation finished

Hi friends. I've finished the spanish driver translation. I hope it is good enough. It took me 8 hours so I'm going to have a long beer and sleep a little . We'll speak later about the 'help file'...

Cheers

Spanish documentation

Hi friends. I've got now everything I need for translating the 'help' file. I don't think is so complicated but it needs its time. I've used Microsoft HTML Help Workshop for decompiling the file. For editing I thing Frontpage or Dreamweaver should be ok, although it is the first time I'll do it. I've got some gigs out of my city from monday to thursday so I will do it in my notebook in free time. Any help will be very...

Also I'm thinking about the idea of making a guide of the driver just for musicians, including examples and presets for different situations. I would do it first in spanish, probably, and if everything is ok, in english. The reason is that I can check it with people here in spain that use to ask me about how to do... So, if they understand, it could be then translated to english and be free for any other translation. (My english is far from being perfect, I know, but my girl friend is british, so...) Any help, comment, or whatever would be very apreciated, if not needed. So feel free to comunicate with me.

Of course I will wait first for Eugene Gavrilov's confirm before I start this guide. If so, I will start a new thread for this then.

And the reason for speaking in english here is that I think it is the common language in this forum and everything we say could be useful for any non spanish speaker.

Cheers
Nando

if anybody needs these files -- feel free to post a message
(especially if you are not familiar with HTML Help Workshop)

>> a guide of the driver just for musicians

this is a long-discussed initiative
of course, a 'guide for musician' is a great idea -- but it might become even greater if it is implemented

>> it is the common language in this forum

yes... I would like to minimize the usage of any other foreign languages on this forum
(except, probably, -this- thread )
so, the -first- language, the guide is to be written on, is English
if you feel the topic you are discussing might be useful for non-Spanish speakers, please, use English

Hi everyone. I'm back again and translating the "help" file. But it is quite slow and I haven't got too much time by now. So if someone want to help will be very very very wellcome. I've start translating the 'htm' files in alphabetical order so if anyone is getting into this please, start from the end and leave a message here. I will have a look here daily.

Eugene, we'll speak about the guide later. I prefer to finish the documentation first.

And I am doing some corrections in the spanish translation for the driver. I'm checking it constantly and doing them as they appears. The one I sent to you is completely correct, Its just some changes for having it "perfect".

We'll keep in touch.

Nando
