possible bug in 'k1lt' and 'Asio'
Users may experience the next; On loading k1lt/Asio plugin a huge amount of xtram is allocated. Edit: Issue solved after re-compiling with 3536c SDK /LeMury Last edited by LeMury; Nov 10, 2003 at 08:18 AM. |

kxdrv3536c-update.exe of course (should be installed on the top of previous version). kxdrv3536c-sdk.exe states for "kX Driver Software Development Kit v.3536c" - it has no driver or apps inside.

Dsp not responding to midi
Hey fresh101,
go to the dsp page and open the FXMix2 and use the In1level slider, that's where the midi effects are routed. Also is it just my machine or is the KX synth2 showing up as an emulated device in cubase sx again? That's not a bad thing. I just want to be sure this is normal. Peace out....... |

Hey folks,
I installed the update to try and resolve a "skip/stutter" problem I was having with the previous official release. While it did seem to resolve the skipping problem, it created another one :-) I'm using a SoundBlaster Live! Value "CT???", one of the older models. I have also tested it with an SB0100. I have a dual P3-866mhz machine with a VIA KT133a chipset, running Windows XP Professional. With the new version of the drivers installed, I got a sporadic, but constant "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" STOP error upon audio playback. I hope this will help you. For now, I have resorted to installing an older version of the Creative drivers for my card. Audio playback using these drivers seems to be perfect, however I'm not sure how long i'll last without the extra features of the kX drivers which I constantly use! I have got the same problem as tjclarke, I have AMD TB 1,2 with KT133a chipset. But I couldn't really bind the BlueScreen with kX/playback...but if more ppl have this problem, then it is possible that it's a bug in kX

With the surrounder plugin included with this release, I never get any sound from the rear center ("sCenter") pin. Is that just there as a pass-through for 6.1 sources, or is it supposed to be making sound when playing stereo sources through the surrounder? I'm using it in 5.1 mode; if there isn't a 6.1 mode, why is there a sCenter pin?

sCenter = surround center (for 6.1 channel configuration) probably...
