Recording 2 analog sources
Hello.
My question is: Is it possible to monitor/record simultaneously 2 analog sources (mic and line in inputs, for instance) on 2 different ASIO channels? Should I install another SB on my computer in order to do so? Thanks in advance. Btw, I have a CT4670 and use cubase SX. |

Yep, you need two SB because mic and line in are shared "by hardware", and only one of them can be heared/recorded at the same time.

You can also get a live drive IR and have another 4 analog mono inputs and an infrared remote control.

But what about the fact that AC97 allows only one source simultaneously? Then the inputs will all get routed to a single ASIO channel, won't they?
