not really, it was introduced in 2001

current drivers should support it as generic 10k2

My software Sony Vegas support 5.1. What is the REAL PLAYBACK DEVICE for 5.1 ac3.

1) Stereo and Front "Kx drive Kx Generic 0/1"

2) Rear playback ??????

3) LFE ??????

output 0/1 is generally processed sound, where as 4/5 is better used as front, 6,7 for rear and 8,9 for sub and center

Go into safe mode (press F8 continuously before windows starts to load) and remove it from there...
