optical in not working for me- plz help

Hi guys- thanks for such a fabulous driver. So much better than creative crap! I am having a little problem. I have an Audigy 2 Platinum EX and I can't seem to hear the optical in (SPDIF)....

running a yamaha SW1000XG into the optical SPDIF in doesn't work (coaxial works fine- and the optical from the yamaha gets into my mixer (event EZbus) just fine as well.)

I am using a mixer to feed SPDIF (coaxial) to the input of the A2 and that works fine.

but when I plug the mixer into the SPDIF optical in on the A2 I hear nothing (the mixer has optical and coaxial).

Basically I want to have both SPDIF's active at once- Is this possible? Is it possible to record coaxial and listen to optical SPDIF at the same time? Sorry if this is a newbie question- tried to find info in the forums and couldn't.

am using 3536 drivers.

Thanks-

josh Ott
