I just installed my Audigy 2 ZS and am very satisfied. I only have one question/suggestion.
The 5.1 speaker setup I am using does not have a headphone jack, and I do not want to split the front channel from the soundcard. If I did this, I would then have to halve all the other channels. Doing so would reduce sound quality and lower the max volume level at which my speakers would play equally.
Is there a way to "replicate" the front channel and assign it to one of the jacks that I am not using (for a 7.1 setup). Could the driver development team implement a "headphone jack" option for 5.1 users so that the unused jack(s) can act as headphone outputs?
Thank you for your time. I hope my suggestion will be of help to other users encountering my same situation.

Thank you for contacting Creative Tech Support
Thank you for your suggestion, but for the present moment, the only way to connect both the headphone and speaker for our sound card, is to have a addition drive, like the Audigy 2 ZS platinum. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused to you.
Please feel free to contact me again if your having any more enquiry.
Thank You

Ooooh.... that sounds like a GREAT idea. I'll spend another $200 on a ZS Platinum for a headphone jack... Score ! ! !
Anybody with this same problem? Any solutions besides channel-splitting?
