SB live Value problems need Help please!

Hey all I have a Gateway P4 with 1.7g processor running on XP it has a sound blaster Live Value !! card in it. I downloaded update drivers from creative.com after installing them after I lost all sound through the main speakers "Boston Acoustic BA 7500G Digital speakers w/surrond sound" Only sound I could get was in analog mode through headphones. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling them again and I get the same problem no sound when I switch to digital output . After a while of messing with it I thought I would do some searching and see If I could find anoyone else having the problem. It just happend that I ran across the kx driver after reading about them I thought I would give then a try so I downloaded them after removed my creaf drivers I installed the kx drivers and I am still having the same Issue no sound in digital output mode . I also read the FAQ with the kx drivers and am aware that I might need to swap front/rear speakers and so on.
Could anyone help me out and maybe tell me what my problem might be.

The creaf drivers that I downloaded was the SB Live driver pack, and the unipack along with the playcenter software ect.. the version of kx drivers is 5.10...3535 I have also just downloaded the latest 5.10......3536 and thought I would give them a try. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

P.S Gateway also had 2 different downloads for the card they had a digital and analog version.

it may not be a problem with your dirvers, it could be IRQ sharing of the PCI slots, i know on my mother board the first and last PCI slots share IRQ, make sure in the BIOS that your card's slot doesn;t share an IRQ with another slot, and then check in your hardware manager inthe system control panel to see if there are anyt resource conflicts
