Wave in KX mixer WAVE is muted and all the way down!

I am having a problem with my mixer. On the "Master" page, the sliders for wave are all the way down. I cant move them. If i shut down and reboot, they automatically mute. I can un mute but i cant move the sliders. What would cause this?

BTW I have a SB Live 5.1. I am using 3534 drivers. I tried un installing and reinstalling the drivers but it didnt seem to correct this. It used to work fine before my hard drive crashed. I think im gonna try the 3536 beta drivers and see if those work any better.

Hmmmmmmmm this is wierd. I installed the 3536 drivers and now it works fine. I guess the gremlins got 3534.
