It is possible to use an Audigy2 OEM in combination with an old Live! Drive

I've got a SB Live! Platinum with the first generation Live! Drive (the one without the dedicated aux ins) which I purchased for the convenience of the front midi connection, the extra inputs and the mic pre (decent, in my opinion)
I would like to move into the 24bit realm and I thougth it would be cool to purchase an Audigy2 OEM (you can find it used for cheap here in Argentina) and using it with my old Live! Drive... it is possible????... a complete Audigy 2 Platinum with its own Live! Drive it's a bit out of reach for me....
