Can't uninstall kX mixer

I've decided to go back to the Creative drivers for the time being and have found I can't uninstall the kX mixer. I unistalled from the menu option in the kX folder of the Start menu, and checked the Add/Remove programs to make sure kX wasn't listed. Though the driver has been removed along with the directory on the HD where all the program files were, on startup I'm told "kX Mixer cannot start - reinstall kX driver". As far as I'm aware kX mixer has been deleted from my computer, so how can I get rid of this message?

Problem solved. Somehow the Uninstall icons returned to the Start Menu and I've managed to uninstall kX fully.
