kX Audio Drivers

I have a SB Audigy2 ZS sound card .. I was wondering if the kX Audio drivers (latest version) will install "all" the neccessary drivers for my card? Like the 1394 port... etc...

The 1394 firewire port is installed by windows and not by kx drivers, as windows (xp) already has drivers for it.

Hi,

I have an Audigy 2 ZS running Windows XP Pro/SP1 - P4 1.5GHZ.

I have never had a problem with the kX drivers and the sound is clear and powerful through my Fostex monitors. That is if I disable front/rear swapping in the kX mixer. The driver defaults to this option on and if you are using the front output of the card you will have no sound at all on a two speaker setup.

I have found that the ZS seems to sound better on the front output.

the front/rear swap was used for the older cards
