SPDIF box poping up on 3536

Wondered if you could tell me why it keeps popping up above my systray? n ive noticed the cd rom seems to keep cutting out too, i dont know if its related to KX drivers but its happened on 2 Cd drives now and its damn annoying! :P

any suggestions would be appreciated

Using SBLive Digital 5.1

Athlon XP 3000+
640Mb DDR PC2100 Ram
60Gb Hard Drive
MSI KT4 Ultra Motherboard

just in case its any help this is whats in my I/O Status

SPDIF Inputs:

spdif A: 100100 Freq: 44055; R; S;
spdif B: unused
spdif B: unused of same as B
[R-Rate Locked; S-Stream Locked; V-Valid Audio]
SPDIF Outputs:

0: 2109204 1: 2109204 2:2109204 (@48000 Hz)

Edit: oh n i tried upgrading to 3537d, didnt help

the problem happens since your SPDIF connection becomes out of sync time to time (bad connector? bad cable? interference?..)
kX Audio Driver has a special 'feature' to detect such collisions -- it is possible to disable this, but currently there's no user-friendly procedure to achieve it. I will add some 'compatibility' flags for 3537 final

ahh thank you i did wonder what it was, ive got a digital SPDif cable and analogue cd cable going from the soundcard if that helps? they're ancient so it would probably explain it haha
