Windows will not shutdown

I cannot shut Windows XP down after installing Kx drivers. I am running XP Pro with Audigy Gamer with a Drive Bay added to it. (It was not a platinum when I got it, just got he drive bay). What is causing windows not to shutdown properly?

Try going to 'Windows Device Manager'/View/Show hidden devices/Compatibility with Apm-Legacy in Windows NT' and activate it (if it is deactivated with a red cross).

Note: My Windows is spanish, so names could be not exact

By service pack are you referring to Windows? If so yes. I reinstalled (again) and things seem to be fine now. I actually went back to the stable release to get my remote working.
